The AntiMethod

Why is understanding essential?

Because “knowing” and “understanding” are not the same.

 Problem

Many people “know” how to use English, but don’t quite understand why they do what they were taught to do. This understanding is essential in acquiring the language as one’s own.

 Solution

Our programs open the doors to real understanding of the language and therefore enable confident and effective communication. We achieve this by infusing logical reasoning into aspects of language previously only taught through thoughtless repetition.

 The AntiMethod

The AntiMethod of teaching English is the answer to the prayers of learners who have always wanted to understand what they are doing, but are always told to memorize.

What is the AntiMethod and why was it created?

Have you ever wondered how come there are so many English teaching methods? Isn’t this a testament to the fact that none of them work well? Why would teaching English be so different than any other teaching? It isn’t!

If you think about it, there is generally one method to teaching most things, and it consists of two elements:

1First of all, it is necessary to logically explain how something is built, how it works, what interdependencies govern it, and what sense it all makes. This is the foundation of future progress and a source of confidence.

2Secondly, once the students have achieved a basic level of real logical understanding of how things work, we have to simulate a relevant environment to allow them to practice their theory in a practical setting. This simulated environment should as quickly as possible progress into reality.

The AntiMethod of teaching English naturally encompasses them:
